What You’ll Do
As a Fire Suppression Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire suppression systems on heavy equipment
- Inspecting and replacing fire suppression tanks, cartridges, and control unit batteries
- Performing electronic and manual actuator testing to ensure proper system functionality
- Maintaining system logs, following manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring compliance
- Traveling to job sites (some overnight stays required)
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanically inclined individuals – If you have experience with welding, plumbing, automotive repair, or similar trades, you’re a great fit
- Basic computer & mobile device skills – You’ll use field service applications for reporting
- Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record required
- Physically capable – Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Willingness to learn – Experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate
