Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, resolve hardware and software issues, maintain printers, and manage supply inventory to ensure efficient operations. Strong communication skills and a robust understanding of computer systems and networking are essential.
Responsibilities
- Respond to end-user support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers.
- Manage and track IT supply inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts and access permissions.
- Document issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with IT team members to address complex technical issues.
- Provide end-users with training and guidance on IT best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic networking concepts.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or similar.

License/Certification:
