Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor Sakurai screen or offset printing machine in accordance with job specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent quality and efficiency throughout the run.
- Load substrates and manage ink levels and print alignment to meet production goals.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished work for quality standards including clarity, registration, and consistency.
- Record production information and report any mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with press assistants, quality control, and the production team to optimize workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
- All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with color matching, ink handling, and setup for specialty jobs.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced print shop environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience operating Sakurai or similar printing presses preferred.
- Understanding of screen printing or offset processes and mechanical operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to work schedule as needed.
Physical Requirements:
