Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and numbers savvy Project Control Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring project performance, analyzing data, and providing insights to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to support decision-making and optimize project outcomes.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 AM - 5 PM EST)
This position offers a hybrid work environment with 1-2 days working from home per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze business unit financials, including revenue, costs, and profitability, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports at a project level.
- Oversee cost control processes to ensure financial goals are met, working closely with business unit leaders to identify and address any discrepancies, whether accounting vs. operations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by performing in-depth financial analysis and creating contingency plans.
- Maintain project documentation and continuously evaluate and improve project control processes and reporting methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a similar field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project finance, project control, or financial analysis, preferably in government contracting.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data, create detailed reports, and make informed recommendations based on findings.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suites, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
