Shall perform installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in power plants. Also, installation, maintenance and operation of substations.
This position may be filled at either a journey-level or apprentice.
What you will do
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain electronics and electrical equipment in power plants and substations.
- Be able to work from construction prints, wiring diagrams, and instruction books as well as make sketches of wiring circuits and maintain prints up to date.
- Be familiar with and understand operating principles of power plant and substation equipment and other equipment assigned.
- Be able to use the following test instruments: voltmeter, ohm meter, ammeter, amprobe, megger, phasing device, rotation indicator, and similar instruments.
- May assist Power Plant and Substation Electrician Technical.

- High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Pay Range:
