Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and preparing accurate maps and reports. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and proficiency in various surveying technologies. The Land Surveyor will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and/or assist in managing survey projects to include, boundary, topographic and construction staking surveys.
- Assist in developing procedures, systems, and methods for project delivery.
- Assist with proposal preparation.
- Generate contour maps and alignments.
- Handle aerial survey data.
- Write legal descriptions for a variety of legal instruments.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in the State of Utah.
- 5 years of professional experience in surveying.
- Extensive knowledge of surveying techniques and hardware.
- Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering.
- Strong skills using AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Trimble Business Center, GPS/RTK and Robotic Total Station experience preferred.
- Willing to assist with business development and marketing in Southern Utah.
