We are seeking a Full-time Director of Rehab - Physical Therapist (RPT), Occupational Therapist (OTR), & Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP). Candidate must be a licensed PT, OT or SLP. PTA's & COTA's are not eligible.
The Director of Rehab is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the department. The administration of the department includes, but is not limited to, finance and profitability, personnel development and management including hiring, performance reviews and discipline as necessary, quality of care and planning and marketing of departmental services, and participation in process improvement and performance improvement activities.
The director is responsible for the activities of staff members engaged in assisting patients in regaining or retaining their highest functional level as well as helping to ensure that patient care is delivered in an appropriate and fiscally responsible way. The director also establishes or assists in the development and modification of policies and procedures for the department as well as standards and objectives for the treatment of patients.
We are looking for a proactive leader and caregiver with a positive “team player” attitude and meets the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program - Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Current state licensure
- Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly
