We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Columbus , OH. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines and be able to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues and would like to trained as a reefer technician.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Inspect and test engines to determine the cause of malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Perform engine tune-ups to ensure proper performance
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willing to train to become a reefer technician
