Duties
- Operate extrusion machinery to fabricate plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor the production process, ensuring that materials are handled properly and that quality standards are met.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Document production data accurately for quality control purposes.
Qualifications
- Experience in plastics blow molding or plastics injection molding is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with materials handling in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with press brake machines is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for calculating measurements and material requirements.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
