The Electrical Instructor is responsible for developing curriculum, organizing, and facilitating instructional training that fosters technical and leadership knowledge for Interstates’ employees. Technical instruction may include disciplines in the areas of electrical construction, automation, manufacturing, safety, and other applicable areas. Technical instruction is accomplished through classroom (virtual and in-person) and hands on training that ensures learner engagement and skills development through practice applications.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, administer, and continuously improve Interstates’ technical training programs
- Identify, develop, and deploy technical training for personnel needs and certification requirements
- Plan, direct, and facilitate classroom and hands-on training, electronic learning, multimedia and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops
- Prepare training material and classroom agenda for courses
- Conduct presentations using a variety of training methods
- Train and develop SMEs to assist in the facilitation of technical training courses
- Create instructor materials (course outlines, instructional materials, training aids, etc.)
- Continuously improve instructional delivery and presentation skills
- Present on subject matter and content relevant to the industry
- Assist the Training Team in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Expertise for this Role
- Bachelor's degree in Education or State license journeyman prefrerred
- Associate degree from a two-year college
- with relative background in Electrical Construction or other applicable technical trade
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred in adult training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $60,000 - $85,000 Full Benefits
Location: On Site (Omaha)
TRAVEL: Up to 35% travel may be required to direct training to applicable personnel.
