Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Production Intern to join our Interstates team in Topeka, KS.This role will provide direct support to our Modular E-House division, as defined in the primary job duties section, below. An ideal candidate will be results driven, safety-minded, and work well with a team. Interstates seeks ambitious, innovative individuals, with the ability to grow and maintain value-added relationships with our team and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints
- Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material
- Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches
- Bending and threading conduit
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment and build effective relationships
- Display a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Be results driven and safety minded
- Ability to routinely lift 50-75lbs
Travel: This position will be located in our Topeka, KS office and will not require any travel.
