Purpose

Supervises and coordinates activities of Team Leaders and Assembly Technicians engaged in the assembly process in order to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities include :

  • Coordinate with Production Manager and Customer Service Manager the assembly requirements and priorities
  • Assign team members to assembly jobs as production schedule requires
  • Train team leaders in work methods and procedures
  • Routinely inspect production areas to ensure conformance of assembled parts / components with procedures provided
  • Ensure paperwork for areas of responsibility is completed and accurate
  • Ensure parts, components and materials are accurately logged out from the warehouse for team members
  • Ensure parts, components and materials are labeled accurately and accurately logged into the ware house for team members
  • Account for assembly efficiency rates
  • Coordinate equipment repairs with Process Engineer
  • Coordinate with Production Manager and Quality Manager actions required to address quality concerns
  • Participate in production and supervisor meetings as scheduled
  • Coordinate staffing requirements with Production Manager and Human Resource Manager or their designee
  • Participate with Human Resource Manager or their designee to develop effective training programs
  • Ensure team members are following all policies and procedures
  • Communicate team member issues, absences, etc to Human Resource Manager or their designee
  • Issue disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Keep production work area neat and orderly
  • Participate in all employee training meetings
  • Participate in maintaining personal and team member training records
  • What Were Looking for

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English (Required)
  • Must have a good working knowledge of EMS processes, production methods and products
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Additional on the job training provided
  • Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • Must be able to sit, stand and / or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Temperature controlled facility with office and light manufacturing environment; non-smoking; safety hazards minimal with daily use of some chemicals; company provided smock and hairnet mandatory in all controlled production areas.
