This is a 9 month project. What are we looking for? The Lead Piping / Mechanical Inspector - Sabine Pass, TX is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented.
This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business.

Job Title : Lead Piping / Mechanical Inspector - Sabine Pass, TX Project Duration / Schedule : This role will work 60 hours per week (6 / 10s) and is anticipated to last 9 months. Location : Sabine Pass, TX What you'll do :
- Review of specifications, procedures and specified standards utilized on the construction site
- Inspection, witnessing or verification to establish the quality of a material, structure, or system
- Organization and implementation of record retention systems
- Manage inspection personnel assigned to report to lead inspector
- Follow the client's QA / QC management system
- Responsible for performing all aspects of inspection activities with minimum supervision
- Monitor Piping and Mechanical Rotating Equipment operations and conduct required inspections work to resolve quality related issues with workers, subcontractors, and the client
- Check and inspect rotating equipment and / or components to ensure they meet project requirements
- Communicate with management, staff, and clients the requirements of quality's scope of work
- Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards
- Coordinate Non-destructive testing on site
- Identify and control NCRs
- Monitor project schedule and communicate with client if schedule is not being met
