What are we looking for?
The AWS / CWI Special Inspector is responsible for the special inspections of construction steels, including the field welding and shop welding. This position will travel at least 50% of the time.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $55 / hr. - $65 / hr. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do :
- Coordinate field assignments with the Field Supervisor
- Perform construction special inspections, observations and shop inspections if required
- Inform field representatives, and prepare detailed reports summarizing special inspection and observation results
- Maintain equipment and company vehicles
- Meet with Project Manager to discuss progress of field work and discuss scope of laboratory testing
- Coordinate laboratory testing with the Laboratory Supervisor
- Sample pick-up for laboratory testing
