The Geotechnical Project Engineer - Construction is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria; using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications during work.

What you’ll do:
Prepare preliminary geotechnical reports, scopes, budgets and schedules for projects as per specifications
Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams
Work on one or multiple projects at a time
May perform on-site observations or inspections

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited/ABET school
AND a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
3 years' progressive experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) License
Must have the ability to obtain a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License within 6 months of hire
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
May travel up to 15% of time
Ability to read and understand work plans
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly desired
Proficiency in engineering software in discipline (GeoStudio, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, SLIDE, Settle3D and MSEW)
Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D
Experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
Salary : $68,000 - $95,000
