Program Manager - Analytical Chemistry
The opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager - Analytical Chemistry to join this global organization which respects diverse perspectives, experiences, and traditions as essential, and values each employee's contribution toward achieving our business objectives. This role will be located in our Houston, TX location.
General Description of Responsibility
Under supervision VP Exploration and Production, the Program Manager will provide technical oversight, project work instructions and coordination of project deliverables with Laboratory Managers or Supervisors.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide Technical oversight and coordination of project work instructions
- To oversee and perform testing of samples and quality control specimens using specified methodology or work instructions.
- To assist in the training of less experienced employees.
- To collaborate with clients to develop analytical programs and customer workflows to meet client objectives.
- To work closely with Sales and Business Development.
- Attending local and regional workshops and conventions.
- It is highly encouraged to work with clients and internal staff for industry publications.
- To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company's Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and strategy, and to exercise good judgment, commons sense, and diplomacy in so doing.
- Other duties as assigned.
