What are we looking for?
Technical Reviewer
is responsible for reviewing and managing technical reports submitted for certification; and maintaining communication with management, internal and external clients on the status of reports.
Shift / Schedule : Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM - this is an office position - not remote.

What you'll do : Reviewing test reportsReview reports for completeness of testing.Review reports for accuracy of information included and calculations.Confirm all necessary paperwork is included.Confirm report content conforms with all relevant internal and external technical standardsConfirm information provided is consistent with internal database and follow through on updates as needed.Communicate with technical and administrative staff
Review and understand technical standards and be able to communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical staff.Verify that current test and review procedures conform with published standardsCommunicate inaccuracies or mistakes in documentation appropriately
Maintaining communication with management and internal and external clientsThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above-defined duties.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in related technical field a plusPrefer prior related experience in a testing laboratory or the automotive industryAbility to independently plan, organize and complete projects within established standards, objectives and timeframes.Ability to read and comprehend a variety of technical materials.Ability to make technical decisions within established parametersMust have strong critical thinking abilities and problem solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Must be an effective communicator, in terms of actively listening, speaking and writing.Must have excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.Must have excellent interpersonal skillsWillingness to adhere to standards, styles, and templates to ensure consistent documentation.Must have excellent computer skills - including Microsoft Office knowledge, including MS Word and MS Excel, MS Access experience a plusMust be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting prioritiesWillingness to learn how to perform hands-on technical work as necessary
