What are we looking for?
This Technician II - Chemical position is responsible for Refrigerant Testing per AHRI 700 and similar test methods.

What are we looking for?
This Technician II - Chemical position is responsible for Refrigerant Testing per AHRI 700 and similar test methods.
What you’ll do:
Listed examples are illustrative and representative of the tasks required of this position and are not intended to be complete or exclusive.
- Performs numerous chemical and physical tests based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods or accepted industry standards in multiple test areas.
- Responsible for equipment calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Cleans glassware and test equipment.
- Records data on appropriate data sheets and reports data.
- Assists with establishing new and/or specialized testing procedures, including written methods and ISO documentation.
- Responsible for inventory on reagents, dates on bottles and CofAs on file.
- Participate in training program as a trainer in area of specialty.
- Responsible for complying with safety, quality and housekeeping requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining quality records, control charts, and lab supply inventories.
- Preparing calibration gases for internal and external use.
- Assist with preparation of samples for standardized testing.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Microsoft Office software proficiency, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to regularly lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Attention to detail with the ability to think outside of the box
- Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
- 2 years’ experience as an Intertek Technician I - Chemical
