What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conformal Coating Specialist position at Intervala,LLC?
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Set up, operate, and maintain the conformal coating line to meet the production needs of our customer base. Coordinate with Operations and Engineering to obtain instructions, assistance, and communicate concerns.
- Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting
- Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage, remove excess coating and perform manual touch-up of any areas missed to maintain high quality
- Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class
- Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions
- Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
- Strong mechanical, mathematical, and measurement aptitude
- Ability to use tools and testing devices
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
- Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
Required Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience
