Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hands-On Help Desk Systems Administrator to join our electronics manufacturing company. This role combines help desk support and systems administration, ensuring seamless IT operations for employees and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for production and office functions. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong technical background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues across the organization.
- Serve as the primary help desk contact, monitoring the site’s ticketing system
- Maintain and administer Windows / Linux servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based applications.
- Support and configure enterprise networks, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
- Manage user accounts, security permissions, and group policies to ensure compliance with IT security policies.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of ERP, MRP, and production-related software used in manufacturing operations.
- Perform system monitoring, backups, patch management, and software updates to ensure reliability and security.
- Troubleshoot and support IT-related manufacturing equipment, including computers interfacing with production machinery.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, licensing, and support of IT hardware and software solutions.
- Document IT processes, maintain an asset inventory, and create user guides to improve efficiency and self-service capabilities.
- Provide IT training and support to employees as needed.
