Job Summary & Essential Functions
Perform various assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor.
- Operate a variety of equipment, for example: conformal coating, singulation machines, and start to train on wave solder needed to fulfill customer requirements
- Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship IPC-610 standard for all classes
- Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to use tools and testing devices
- Basic math computational and measurement skills
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
- Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
Required Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of relevant job experience preferred
- Certification in IPC -610
