What are the responsibilities and job description for the Printed Circuit Board Assembler (2nd shift) position at Intervala,LLC?
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.
- Cut and form (prep) components
- Perform manual placement of THT components
- Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware
- Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware
- Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results
- Work under close supervision
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
- Component identification skills
- Ability to perform component prep using hand tools and tooling
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
Required Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- No experience
**This is a second shift position (3:30pm - 2am Monday through Thursday), training will be on first shift (7am - 3:30pm)
