SUMMARY
At InterVenn Biosciences, our mission is to advance a new era of personalized medicine by decoding the human glycoproteome – glycosylated proteins which are responsible for driving protein function – revealing a rich source of biological insights that has the potential to significantly improve drug development and patient outcomes.
We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to sell our innovative products and services. The GlycoVision™ platform integrates machine learning with high performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments (LC-MS) to develop clinically relevant glycopeptide panels to be used for pre-clinical research, clinical development and diagnostics.
The sales representative will have 5 years of bio-tech sales experience, with a track record of achieving aggressive sales targets. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to excel at generating leads, building relationships, and implementing partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

- Develop in-depth knowledge of InterVenn’s products and services
- Represent InterVenn’s products and services, effectively communicate how our solutions meet the needs of physicians, researchers, and biopharma organizations
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business opportunities
- Work closely with Product Management to understand the latest market intelligence
- Develop and implement a territory action plan and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to establish relationships with academic researchers
- Five or more years of full-cycle sales experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry or equivalent
- Deep understanding of the methodologies and technologies used to study the proteome
- Ability to effectively communicate the use of glycoproteomic technology within drug development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Ability to travel within the Greater Bay Area at least 50% of the time. Occasional East Coast travel
Competitive base salary plus the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through commission.
Salary : $93,000 - $165,000
