We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner that will come be a part of our growing team. Interventional Cardiology Medical Group has been a staple in the community for over 30 years and continuing our growth pattern we wish to add a Nurse Practitioner who has background to fit our amazing team of physicians and current Nurse Practitioners. Working both inpatient and outpatient, alongside our great team to provide care the right way for the right reason.
Summary : Nurse Practitioner provides outpatient assessment and
management of patients with acute, episodic, and chronic, stable cardiovascular
disease.
Main Responsibilities
Uses internal processes to assess, plan, implement, provide, and follow-up
with all patients needs, coagulation clinic requirement, HIPAA and OSHA
guidelines.
Overseeing Nuclear Stress Imaging and Stress Echocardiogram Outpatient
Patient follow up appointments
Hospital follow-up appointments (within one week of discharge)
Coordinate testing schedule with staff schedulers
Coordinate with physicians and staff for follow-up appointment from
inpatient rounds
Coordinate care plan of the cardiology patients inclusive of assessment,
treatment, and education within respect of cardiac care only
Manage and navigate procedures such as Treadmill Stress Testing, ICD and
pacemaker interrogations and evaluations.
Requests appropriate post-operative diagnostic procedures and
consultation services as needed.
Consults with physicians staff and utilize consultation services when
appropriate.
Complete, finalize, and sign off on reporting for cardiac remote monitoring
patients.
