Extrusion Saw Helper (Midnights) Garden City

Extrusion Saw Helper (9pm-5am) or (9pm-7am) Depending on business needs, 5-6 days a week. 

• Extrusion saw operators review work orders to prepare workflow.
• Help the saw operator load material into heat treat racks.
• Verified correct cut length by using appropriate measuring tools.
• Ensure spacers are properly inserted between layers of extrusion as needed.
• Ensure proper piece count per rack is recorded on the production report.
• Helps stretcher stack and stretch extrusions, as needed.

This job may require the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting. Continuous lifting to 75 pounds from the floor to an average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures.

        Requirements

• Preferred work experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the accuracy of 1/16”
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Engages in self-learning, keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
