Our National Security Solutions team needs a Sr. Network Engineer to support our expanding portfolio of work in the Intelligence Community (IC). As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and optimize network switches, routers and firewalls.
- Configure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)
- Manage application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls.
- Configure and troubleshoot virtual networking, vlans, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs).
- Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
- Diagnose network connectivity problems.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.
- Monitor network capacity and performance.
- Mitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.
- Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
- Configure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems.
Skills Requirements:
- Master’s degree AND 10 years’ experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree AND 12 years’ experience, OR
- High school diploma and 15 years’ experience as a Network Engineer
- Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS
- VMware/ESXi
- Switch VLAN setup
- VMware virtual NIC config for isolation
- Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
