What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visual Merchandiser position at Inti Vintage?
As a Store Merchandiser, you will showcase your creativity and attention to detail by developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that highlight our super cool and unique pieces. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment, interacting with people from all walks of life while ensuring our inventory moves efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement eye-catching visual merchandising strategies to showcase our vintage and repurposed products.
- Track and count inventory to calculate Sell-Through Rate (STR) and make informed merchandising decisions.
- Process NEW inventory which includes tagging, hanging and inputting into system
- Put up signage to highlight promotions, pricing adjustments, and product features.
- Identify slow-moving inventory and implement clearance strategies, including markdowns and display changes.
- Collaborate with the store manager to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain visually stunning displays that drive engagement and sales.
- Act as a brand ambassador for IntiVintage and maintain strong product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to the store manager regarding product performance and customer feedback.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in Merchandising in a retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills to track sales performance and inventory movement.
- Excellent visual and creative skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and in a team to meet merchandising goals.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
