Position Details:

JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant
SHIFT/SCHEDULE: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Pay rate : $33/hr. (W2 without benefits)
Duration: 3 months with strong possibility of Extension
Location: - Olympia, WA 98501

This position is available for local clinicians only. Candidates must have a local address and hold a valid WA MA license.
CMA Required. State License Required

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical regulations.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance verification.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in specialized areas such as Medical-surgical units, PICU, and Emergency Medicine to deliver high-quality care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems for electronic health records management.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
