Position:- Patient service Representative
Location:- Chestnut Hill, MA
Pay:- $22/hr.
Shift:- Day
Contract:- 13 weeks
Required:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
High School graduate, two years post High School preferred
One year related experience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Typing, word processing and computer skills. Medical terminology.
Strong experience in a customer service position

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits.
- Accurately input patient information into (EHR) systems.
- Process medical billing and insurance claims using systems such as Dentrix and Athenahealth.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry of medical codes (ICD-10).
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Support office operations by managing files, documents, and office supplies.
- Assist patients by providing translation services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical billing practices and familiarity with EHR systems such as Dentrix or Athenahealth.
- Strong typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
