The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Windows Server operating permissions, managing a large file server migration, and resolving permissions issues. Additionally, the role involves VMware administration and storage management, including Dell storage appliances and Cisco fiber challenge zoning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Windows Server operating permissions.
- Manage and execute a large file server migration, addressing permissions issues.
- Troubleshoot and perform break/fix tasks in a Windows lab environment.
- Administer VMware, including adding to the domain, reinstalling, provisioning servers, and configuring data stores.
- Manage storage solutions, particularly Dell storage appliances/SANs.
- Handle fiber challenge zoning with Cisco fiber challenge experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Windows Server operating permissions support.
- Strong troubleshooting and break/fix skills in a Windows lab environment.
- Knowledge of VMware administration, including provisioning servers and configuring data stores.
- Experience with storage management, particularly Dell storage appliances/SANs.
- Familiarity with fiber challenge zoning and Cisco fiber challenge.
