- They are seeking an IT Business Analyst or HRIS Business Analyst with experience working closely with HR teams, supporting their needs, and writing use cases and user stories.
- While Dayforce experience is ideal, they prioritize candidates who can provide an in-person, white-glove experience in a hybrid setting rather than hiring a fully remote candidate just for Dayforce expertise.
- This role will focus solely on HRIS, as the company will maintain both Dayforce and SAP instances.
The position will focus on enterprise Data and Analytics
A lot of the need for this position will be HRIS support
- Experience working with Dayforce/Ceridian is a huge plus but they will accept general HRIS/ERP experience
- They are also in the middle of an SAP upgrade to S4 Hana. That’s not really going to be this persons main responsibility but if they have SAP/S4 experience it’s a plus
- Working with technical teams, but also leadership like the CHRO and/or stakeholders is important
If we cant find someone local but we can find someone in the tristate area with the Dayforce experience they would consider having more flexibility with the remote/hybrid schedule
What you’ll be doing:
- Data Analysis and Process Optimization: Partner with functional teams (for example – HR, Sales and Commercial teams) to gather and analyze business process/data to identify needs and recommend solutions. Analyze industry trends and best practices.
- Identify value driven opportunities and drive POCs with clear outcomes: Identify improvement opportunities to advance individual and organizational capabilities; partner with third parties to articulate high level solution requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment; when appropriate, plan & lead proof of concepts to validate solution.
- Requirements gathering and documentation: Translate stakeholder needs into clear, well-structured requirements including functional specifications, practitioner stories, and process flows.
Drive data driven decision-making to enhance ‘fit for purpose’ business processes: Assist functional managers in making decisions based on data insights enabling the organization to improve digital acumen; Define outcome-based business process transformation; explore and implement opportunities for process automation.
Champion Change Management: Understand process change required to adopt new technology, effectively communicate benefits, and drive organizational change management; motivate affected individuals to embrace change.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks of change and recommend mitigations.
Champion for Standardization: Drive standardization by leveraging of out of the box system and simplification of existing processes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with minimum of 3 years relevant experience or relevant work experience.
- Experience should include work as a business analyst with one or more functional areas.
- Strong knowledge of business applications such as SAP, other ERP systems, or other contemporary technologies
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and/or DevOps methodologies a plus
