Duties
- Hang live birds on the processing line efficiently and safely, ensuring proper spacing and alignment.
- Utilize knives for necessary tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor the condition of the birds during processing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.
- Assist in fabricating equipment or tools as needed for operational efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food processing plant or similar environment is preferred.
