What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Intown Golf Club, LLC?
Intown Golf Club is a private club that is seeking an experienced and driven individual for our Host position. We’re looking for someone who is a service focused multi-tasker, with strong guest service skills, who is committed to providing a high-quality experience to our patrons.
Duties:
- Provide an excellent initial experience to patrons by greeting them and guiding them to their table in a very gracious manner
- Provide patrons with menus and answer any initial questions they may have
- Coordinate with server staff to ensure timely greeting of patrons
- Optimize dining room seating and coordinate with server and bar staff to ensure even and fair workload
- Answer phone and assist with reservation requests and questions
- Assist with member shop sales
- Maintain a clean reception area
Host Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Host / Host Experience at a fine dining restaurant
- Ability to walk / stand for long hours.
- Exemplifies a history of service excellence
- Extremely personable and have excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Available to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
