An established leader in high-reliability aerospace and defense technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives across multiple business units. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting directly to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development
- Owns the creation and execution of strategic and tactical plans to win new, profitable business
- Conducts market research competitive analysis, and gathers intelligence to develop winning capture strategies
- Provides key “price to win” inputs to sales and engineering teams
Sales Execution
- Leads customer visits and works cross-functionally with internal sales, engineering, and marketing to align solutions with customer needs
- Functions as the capture lead from lead qualification through bid/no-bid decisions
- Participates in teaming decisions and agreement strategies with guidance from senior leadership
Customer Engagement & Forecasting
- Builds strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
- Tracks and manages the lifecycle of business opportunities through order booking
- Provides accurate sales forecasts and identifies challenges to opportunity realization
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA a plus)
- 5–10 years of sales/business development experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech electronics
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and drive business growth
- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking
- Experience in military electronics or defense systems is a plus
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60%) and work in a hybrid onsite/client-facing role
