What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer - Space Communication position at Intra Management Solutions, Inc.?
Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in antenna design & analysis – sizing, patterns, gains, and real-world applications, as well as strong knowledge of link budgets, atmospheric/environmental effects, and RF component selection (LNA, PA, antennas, etc.).
Accountabilities:
- Lead space vehicle mission trade studies related to communications links.
- Design and analyze RF & Communications subsystems, including link budgets, antennas, and RF components.
- Develop manufacturing, integration, and verification documentation for RF subsystems.
- Support on-orbit operations of communication systems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in space or aviation RF & Communications system design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship required (Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance).
