Lead Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to oversee a team of five engineers and drive new product introduction (NPI), production assembly, and test efforts. This hands-on leadership role requires technical expertise and the ability to develop and mentor a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Serve as a high-performing manufacturing engineer, supporting NPI programs and production efforts.s
- Design, develop, and validate manufacturing, assembly, and test fixtures
- Improve and optimize manufacturing, assembly, and test processes
- Create and update routers, assembly procedures, work instructions, and standards
- Lead or support process improvements, waste reduction, and structured problem-solving initiatives
- Ensure part protection and handling processes to minimize damage and rework
- Drive capital expense projects and cross-functional collaboration
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools for continuous improvement
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and team development
