Spacecraft RF Payload Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Spacecraft RF Payload Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge, space-based RF payloads for advanced satellite communications and mission-critical on-orbit operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead space vehicle mission trade studies related to communications links.
- Define communications system requirements and identify the right technologies to meet mission needs.
- Design and analyze RF & Communications subsystems, including link budgets, antennas, and RF components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, test, and deliver spacecraft communications products.
- Develop manufacturing, integration, and verification documentation for RF subsystems.
- Support on-orbit operations of communication systems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in space or aviation RF & Communications system design.
- Strong knowledge of link budgets, atmospheric/environmental effects, and RF component selection (LNA, PA, antennas, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in antenna design & analysis – sizing, patterns, gains, and real-world applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship required (Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDR), satellite modulation & coding.
- Hands-on work with CCSDS standards and optical communications links.
- Strong background in antenna, radio design, and system integration/testing.
- Active security clearance (SSBI) a plus.
