Key Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge RF systems for next-gen space missions, leading space vehicle mission trade studies related to communications links, and defining communications system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, test, and deliver spacecraft communications products.
- Develop manufacturing, integration, and verification documentation for RF subsystems.
- Support on-orbit operations of communication systems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in space or aviation RF & Communications system design.
- Strong knowledge of link budgets, atmospheric/environmental effects, and RF component selection (LNA, PA, antennas, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in antenna design & analysis – sizing, patterns, gains, and real-world applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship required (Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance).
