Seeking a Senior Principal Controls Engineer to lead and execute technical project management activities with a focus on Control System Design. The role involves planning, coordination, and design for medium to large projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement detailed control system designs, including hardware, network, and infrastructure layouts. Create project documentation, such as control cabinet designs, I / O lists, logic diagrams, and installation drawings. Provide technical guidance, monitor progress, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Apply knowledge of NEC, ISA, and IEEE standards to project designs. Review and validate designs by control system suppliers. Generate progress reports and support vendor management during project execution. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of NEC, ISA, and IEEE standards. Proven expertise in control systems hardware, network design, and infrastructure. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. US citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications : Professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus. Experience with Emerson Delta V systems. Proficiency in engineering, procurement, and construction management processes (EPFC / CM). Salary Range : $102,000 - $184,000 (based on qualifications and experience). Location : Greenville, SC (US citizenship required).
