Position Overview
IntraBio is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to execute and optimize our pharmaceutical supply chain processes. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency, ensuring compliance, and achieving cost-effectiveness in the areas of procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, you will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to align operations with IntraBio’s objectives and mission.
This is a hybrid role with an agreed upon on-site presence at the company’s headquarters in Austin Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all facets of the supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Analyze supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and distributors, to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry-specific regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure supply continuity and minimize disruptions.
- Leverage supply chain tools and software to enhance visibility and operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend strategies for improved processes and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required:
- Located in Austin Texas with an ability to be on-site at company headquarters
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and supply chain protocols in FDA regulated environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to situations and challenges.
- Excellent proactive communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and collaboration.
Preferred:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Background in rare disease pharmaceutical or medical device sectors.
