DC Coordinator The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of picking, replenishing, and assembly of distribution orders.
Ensures the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices. Plays a key role in DC Operations by ensuring orders are completed and shipped in a timely, efficient, and organized manner.
Duties : Monitors, releases, and coordinates the picking and replenishment of outbound tasks through the use of WMS Prioritize workload based on due dates, lead times, manpower, etc.
Carries out the coordination of projects : rework, re-warehousing, training, etc. Participates in daily Planning Meetings : improvements, forecasting, workload planning, etc.
Communicates order status throughout the day / week. Provides coverage for other area as workload demands Confirms orders are packed and shipped in accordance to customer requirements.
Promotes teamwork environment Maintains assembly area organized, and clean Verifies quality of outbound shipments, and randomly conduct QC audit checks Confirms that all safety practices are complied with Ensures that all safety practices are complied with Guarantees that all labor management processes are being followed through Regularly communicates with Shipping and the Order Processing team Skills / Qualifications : Ability to work in fast paced environment Multi-task ability Good leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written) WMS experience Ability to lift boxes of 10-15 pounds or more Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) preferred Self-motivated and ability to work on their own with little to no supervision Good math skills Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment Available to work extended hours or weekends as needed Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) High attention to detail Problem solving skills Team player What We Offer : Competitive Pay We believe in rewarding success and showing our employees just how much they’re valued in a variety of different ways, including compensation.
