Job Title: Sr. Data & Solution Architect (Fintech/Commercial Business)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Solution Architect with a strong background in Fintech and Commercial Business to lead innovative data-driven solutions and strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a Commercial Data SME with the ability to define strategic data architectures, design end-to-end cloud-based solutions, and unlock measurable value through advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Strategy: Design scalable, resilient data architectures (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, real-time pipelines) to support business growth, innovation, and decision-making. Establish enterprise data models and metadata frameworks.
- Solution Architecture: Architect cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) integrating data ingestion, processing, and analytics components while considering performance, cost optimization, and security.
- Strategic Data Leadership: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and execute data strategies aligned with business goals. Drive data-driven decision-making by uncovering key insights and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Commercial Business and Fintech Expertise: Apply Fintech and commercial domain expertise to design data-driven financial products, solutions for revenue optimization, credit risk, fraud detection, and customer experience.
- Cloud & Emerging Technologies: Leverage cloud-native tools for data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and architectures that maximize business outcomes.
- AI/ML-Driven Insights: Collaborate with data science teams to deploy ML/AI models that solve complex business challenges, such as predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and financial forecasting.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations, leveraging frameworks and tools such as data catalogs, data lineage, and governance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Fintech and Commercial Business processes (e.g., credit, payments, lending).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
- Experience working with AI/ML models in production environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and executives.
