Intralox, L.L.C. is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our MEG team in Harahan, LA. This role will blend support of our global Module Modification departments (machine shops) and traditional engineering technician responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and modification of machining fixtures and CNC programs as well as equipment assembly, wiring, and testing

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with global teams to support Module Modification activities across Intralox facilities.
* Develop, modify, and maintain fixtures and CNC programs for Module Modification departments.
* Operate machining tools to fabricate and adjust precision parts.
* Read engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of parts/products and services.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and workflows.
* Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions on new equipment developments.
* Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Provide hands-on support during the implementation of new equipment.
* Apply established standards, processes, and procedures to ensure workplace safety.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area and team shop.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 3 years experience in machining using CNC Mills and Lathes.
* CNC programming experience is a plus or a track record of quickly learning new software tools, MasterCam preferred.
* Basic knowledge of fixture design and development preferred.
* Extensive understanding of mechanical systems.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems.
* Proven ability in equipment assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Self-managed and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Travel to Global Plants on occasion. <5% of work time.
Desired Qualifications:
* Familiar with the Haas machining platforms and MasterCAM
* Ability to manipulate 3D CAD models to read critical dimensions in CAD software.
* Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems including, PLC, pneumatics, and linear actuators.
* Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
