Packing and Shipping

Immediate need for a Shipping Department Material Handler. Full time, direct hire position. This position is responsible for building shipping crates for all of IntraPack products. He/she will also assist where needed in the shipping department. We are looking for a candidate that could possibly move into a team lead role assisting the production manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Builds custom wood crates for shipment of IntraPack product.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measurement including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Accurately measure and cut wood.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed.
• Safely utilize all power tools.
• Read a tape measure.
• Follow directions from supervisor and work independently.
• Use a computer.
• Correctly record and documentation of shipments.
• General housekeeping of warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year shipping and receiving
• 1 year cutting raw material (wood or metal)

Physical Abilities

• Active for an entire shift (i.e. walking, standing, etc.), 8 hours
• Hand/eye coordination with good hand dexterity; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts
• Pulling and Pushing
• Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
