SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Coordinator [Intern] plays a critical role in supporting procurement and finance by overseeing the flow of materials between the warehouse and field crews. This paid position is responsible for handling material requests, coordinating material releases, and overseeing inventory management, including forecasting minimum quantities and conducting physical inspections of field inventory. With potential minimal travel, the Supply Chain Coordinator [Intern] ensures seamless receipt and distribution of materials based on field-provided information, contributing to operational efficiency and resource availability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: What will you be doing?
- Assist in processing and responding to material requests from field crews in a timely manner.
- Help coordinate the release of materials from the warehouse to support field operations.
- Support and monitor inventory levels, including adjusting and forecasting minimum quantities to meet demand and avoid shortages and overstocking.
- Conduct physical inspections of field inventory to ensure accuracy and condition of materials.
- Assist in receiving and verify materials based on data and updates provided by field teams.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and material movements.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to align material availability.
- Assisting with vendor onboarding document collection.
