Mattress Brokers Inc.(MBI), is a North Carolina based mattress distribution company that strives to provide high quality mattresses to the public at 40-70% below the traditional retail sector. We do this through ongoing manufacturer negotiations, operating out of small nondescript retail spaces, and keeping our advertising/operational/promotional expenses to a minimum.
We are currently seeking 1 proven sales professional to manage operations within our Beaufort, NC territory.
Requirements
No industry experience needed - Sales experience is a must.
Must be comfortable on the phone - There is no cold calling required, however you will need to respond to incoming calls/texts throughout the day from inquiring customers.
Must be a good manager of time - Although incoming calls/texts can be answered remotely, your presence at our location will be required most evenings from 4-7.
Must be comfortable operating alone in a casual warehouse environment - Our business only requires one person to manage operations within any given territory, therefore a good multi tasker is preferred.
Must be physically capable of off loading mattress deliveries into your designated location - Although our business model rarely requires us to provide delivery for our customers, we are responsible for off loading new deliveries onsite from our manufacturers.
Day in the life
- Post/refresh company advertising via online mediums per company standards as trained.
- Respond to 15-25 incoming calls/texts/inquiries, etc daily from potential customers.
- Convert 50% of inquiries into customer appointments.
- Meet customers at the territory location, and allow them to view the advertised merchandise.
- Accept / Inventory weekly deliveries.
- Coordinate with customers to pick up their merchandise when it arrives at the designated location.
Appointments
- Appointments are scheduled 15 minute apart.
- Most onsite appointments are set between 4-7pm M-F
- Customer appointments typically last 7-10 minutes
- 70-90% of appointments result in a sale.
