What are the responsibilities and job description for the AMD Operating System (OS) Product Owner (PO) position at IntrepidLLC?

We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Operating System (OS) Product Owner (PO) to support the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Prioritizing and validating the Operating System and IBCS Software supporting applications for the Operating System (OS) team.
- Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms of secure systems and providing guidance to the development team.
- Working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network.
- Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
- Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
- Reporting on status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
At a minimum you should have:
- US Citizenship and residency in the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
- An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
- Good understanding of Operating Systems (Linux and Windows) and OS-related development tools, Zero trust security model, various IBCS supportive software applications operability and installation as well as good networking foundation.
- Work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
- Solid interpersonal relationships amongst development teams, customers, contractors, and subcontractors are essential.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
- The ability to “move out” and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important.
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
- Possessing an Agilist Certification is an additional plus.
- All employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and/or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.

Estimated Salary Range:
- Intermediate: $115,000 - $147,000
- Senior: $150,000-$188,000
