What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Systems Analyst position at IntrepidLLC?

We are looking for a Data Systems Analyst to join our team to support the USAFMCOM; Army Accounting and Audit Operations (A3O).
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Providing recommendations and services to improve the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and internal control environment of the Army General Fund (AGF) to enable successful attestation and audit, specifically in areas related to Secure Financials.
- Providing subject matter expertise in process optimization, data strategy, and expert knowledge/understanding of Army and DOD systems such as STANFINS, GFEBS-SA, and ADVANA.
- Collaborating with accounting personnel to apply expert understanding of financial knowledge and data analysis to develop various tools and solutions to assist in audit readiness efforts, e.g. data reconciliation between different systems.
- Identifying opportunities for automation in sensitive activity systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Developing internal controls and monitoring mechanisms to assist in identifying system or data discrepancies.
- Monitoring financial reporting controls and report discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned
At a minimum you should have:
- An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
- 10 years of relevant experience and a MA degree in Accounting or a related field OR 18 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong command of and experience using SQL, ACL Analytics, and automation tools.
- Experience providing data analysis support within a DoD organization and experience working with and reporting to DoD government leadership.
- The knowledge, understanding of, and experience with GAAP, GAGAS, FAM, FASAB, TFM and DoD/Army FM policies.
- The knowledge/understanding of Army and DOD systems such as STANFINS, GFEBS-SA, and ADVANA.
- All employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and/or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.

Estimated Salary Range:
- Senior: $160,000 - $190,000
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): $200,000 - $230,000
The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
