PAY: $16.00 Hourly - PRN Overnights
Responsibilities
Environmental Services Associate job responsibilities include:- Performs cleaning and disinfecting of all areas according to company policy and procedures and manufacturer recommendations. This includes treatment rooms, offices, restrooms, walls, windows, hallways, water fountains, and radiology
- Conducts floor maintenance according to policy and procedures. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Removes all trash from trash receptacles and replaces liners
- Dusts all office furniture
- Cleans and sanitizes sinks, counters and all medical equipment in treatment rooms
- Cleans all light switches throughout the facility
- Assumes responsibility for proper use and cleaning of all equipment according to policy and procedures
- Adheres to all uniform, attendance, departmental and organizational policies, and procedures
- Follows proper use of chemicals according to policy and procedures
- Displays professionalism, tact, respect, and team effort when working with coworkers, and the public
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Environmental Services Associate required skills & qualifications include:- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Past healthcare experience in related job field is preferred.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic principles of service and sanitation
- Must possess the ability to prioritize work projects
- Some minimal travel may be required between sites of operations
- Employee is regularly required to hear and speak; is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bend or twist at the waist, lift and move more than 10 pounds
- Employee is occasionally required to lift and move objects up to 25lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Required to constantly make decisions and concentrate
- Ability to work with and around potentially hazardous materials and diseases
- Ability to work extended hours
