We are seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with Personnel Security, DD254, and COMSEC experience. This role requires the highest level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional written skills, analytical skills (policy and procedure interpretation and implementation), and exceptional attention to detail. You will assist the FSO in managing all aspects of the site industrial security program (visitor control, self-inspections, DCSA Security Reviews) to ensure compliance with USG agencies. Responsibilities may include: Assist in the management of Field Print account and submission of fingerprints for new employees and for clearance upgrades. Makes recommendations to ensure company follows its security program and meets all requirements. Assists the FSO with self-inspections. Assists the FSO with offsite facilities by being proactive to prevent security violations. Serves as a Security POC to assigned contracts. Maintains DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and NISS accounts. Helps maintain security records for employees and consultants. Conducts the Security portion of New Hire Orientation. Creates building badges for new employees. Maintain classified material accountability records (inventory, receipts, transmittal, or disposition records) Communication Security (COMSEC) duties to include inventory, distribution, and destruction. Develop and maintain key external industry partnerships along with strong internal stakeholder relationships to garner best practices and influence emerging policy. Coordinates initial access eligibility determinations and creates PARs or SCI nominations. Preparation and updates DD254s Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, NBIS, and other government databases. Required Bachelor’s Degree 3 years Industrial Security experience Ability to work with a diverse team and key leaders to ensure compliance with security directives. Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course Must have an in-scope security clearance.
